Black Sesame Hojicha Latte

Black sesame and hojicha is one of those flavour combinations that just makes complete sense once you try it. The toasted, nutty depth of black sesame meets the roasted warmth of hojicha in the most satisfying way. It is rich but not heavy, and deeply comforting whether served hot or iced. The colour alone is dramatic and beautiful dark, moody, and guaranteed to stop the scroll. This is a latte for people who like their drinks to feel like an experience.

Tips & Notes

Black sesame paste can be found at most Asian grocery stores. For a stronger sesame flavour, lightly toast the sesame seeds before blending. This latte works beautifully iced or hot depending on the season.
