Ube Hojicha Latte
Purple, earthy, and warming. Ube and roasted hojicha together is a combination you didn't know you needed.
Ingredients
Hojicha Base
- 3g hojicha powder
- 30g hot water (175°F / 80°C)
- 10g maple syrup
- 100ml milk of your choice
Method
- 1Sift hojicha powder into a small bowl.
- 2Pour boiling water into a teacup to cool it to 80°C, then pour into the tea bowl with the hojicha.
- 3Add maple syrup and whisk vigorously for 15 seconds in an "M" shape until smooth and frothy.
- 4Stir ube extract into the milk until combined.
- 5Add ice to a glass, pour in the ube milk, then slowly pour the hojicha on top.
